We completed a cane for SGT Hackemer, a Bronze Star recipient, in December 2009. I had worked with his Father and then him to finalize his requests. He always seemed in good spirits. His Eagle topper was carved by Dev Tacy of our sister club, Mohawk Valley Arts & Woodcarvers.
